Aims and Objectives of Purva Chhatra Samiti

Purva Chhatra Samiti, Bhagwanti Education Centre Degree College will have the following objectives:

1. To provide opportunities for community meetings, discussion of ideas and encouragement of social and cultural cooperation.
2. To disseminate information for mutual benefit among alumni and members of Bhagwanti Education Centre Degree College.
3. To take responsibility for various activities such as:
   • Educational and cultural activities
   • Sports activities
   • Entertainment programs
   • Improvement of college infrastructure
   • Social service work
4. To organize academic conferences, workshops, seminars, discussions and lectures by eminent personalities.
5. To organize environmental activities like tree plantation and cleanliness drives.
6. To provide career counseling, medical services and other welfare programs for students.
7. To provide scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious and needy students.
8. To publish magazines and brochures highlighting activities and achievements.
9. To organize competitions such as general knowledge, debates, essay writing and exhibitions.
10. To honor and reward meritorious students in academics, sports and other activities.
11. To organize campus placement programs for students.
12. To strengthen relationships between alumni, college and industries.
13. To support citizens affected by natural disasters like earthquakes, floods etc.
14. To celebrate national festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti etc.
15. To undertake additional activities with prior approval of the college administration that align with the objectives of the Samiti.
